Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of the Swedish security firm Securitas, employs over 1,000 people near Providence. The company specializes in providing security guards, alarm systems and cash transfers. It also provides consulting and investigative services. Securitas is among the top 50 employers in the state.
