Rinker Materials Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of Australia-based Rinker Group Limited, employs 600 people in the state. Rinker provides a wide variety of construction materials, specializing in concrete. The company has provided materials for high-profile construction projects such as the Venetian, Stratosphere and Luxor Hotels in Las Vegas. It also provides materials for many public works programs in Nevada. Rinker has had a presence in Nevada for over 50 years.
