The AKG Group, a U.S. subsidiary of a German-based manufacturer of cooling systems and heat exchangers, opened an 80,000-square foot facility in Mitchell, South Dakota. The $11.5 million facility, which is expected to be up-and-running efficiently by 2007, is the second U.S. expansion by AKG.
