John Lettieri is the Vice President of Public Policy and Government Affairs for the Organization for International Investment (OFII), a business association representing the U.S. operations of many of the world’s largest global companies. In this role, he leads OFII’s advocacy efforts at the state and federal level to advance policies that promote greater international investment in the United States. John works closely with OFII’s diverse group of member companies, other trade associations, and the broader policy community to highlight the benefits of foreign direct investment in the U.S. and ensure a level playing field for the U.S. subsidiaries of companies headquartered abroad.
Prior to joining OFII, John was Director of Public and Government Affairs for AgustaWestland North America, a leading helicopter manufacturer and unit of the global defense and aerospace group Finmeccanica, where he was involved in a number of high-profile defense and homeland security programs. He previously served as a legislative assistant for foreign policy to U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel, who was then a senior member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
John is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.A. in political science and serves on the Board of Regents for The Fund for American Studies.
